Start with your imagination...
Imagine your iPhone actually taking great low light images like a good point and shoot/video camera.......Imagine transferring those video, pictures, movies, or any other Apple supported files from your iPhone to an internal microSD card so you're not limited by your iPhone memory anymore......Imagine doing all of this as well as running a bunch of apps and not worrying about your iPhone battery dying at 4:00 PM when you aren't going to be back home to charge it until 10:00 PM........STOP IMAGINING, IT'S HERE!
My name is Charlie Corry and I'm a happy iPhone user who owns a manufacturing company in Chicago. We have been designing and manufacturing products for other companies for over 20 years. Now we're happy to be doing it for ourselves. My colleagues and I all own iPhones and we love them but we don't like the low light images it takes, we don't like being limited by the internal iPhone memory and we don't like our batteries running out before our day is done. So, we set out to see if we could solve all of these problems by making what’s essentially a multi-function “iPhone Expansion Device” and incorporating it into a protective case. It took a lot of work but we did it. We call it the Xspander.

microSD card insertion
Why doesn't the iPhone have expandable memory? We don't know but we wanted it, so we added a microSD card slot to our Xspander. Now you have unlimited expansion of your iPhone memory, up to 64GB (largest microSD card we are aware of) at a time. Transfer any Apple supported file (movies, videos, pictures, spreadsheets, etc.) from your iPhone to the Xspander microSD card or from anywhere else to the microSD card and then to your iPhone and the app is very easy to use.

Manufacturing & Distribution...
The battery, printed circuit board, connectors and graphite reinforced nylon case will be manufactured and purchased in China. The LEDs and most of the electronic components will be purchased in the US and shipped to our assembly factory in China where the assembly of the Xspander will take place. The finished Xspanders will be shipped to our Chicago warehouse where they will be inspected and shipped out.
